This is amazing. I asked multiple companies to fix my floor with scratches. No one would- unless I paid $6k for WHOLE FLOOR. I said no way!
Great video! Please list the LINKS to items on the website(s) where you purchased these the items that you used (e.g. Wipe-On Poly) to fill scratches. That would really make things convenient for the viewers. Thanks.
Thanks Mr fix it π
can the last method work on a very deep groove scratched in the hardwood floor . About 1/2 cm deep groove

My floor already has a distressed look so this will work great!
Wow nice
The end results looks fucking horrible
I heard start with boiling water.
Do I need to put top coat on top of the stain? (For a small shallow scratch)

I'm interested in some follow-up as to which methods they used and how effective they wereπ
thanks buddy
I appreciate these DIY tips! οΈ I've tackled a few scratches on my hardwood floor, and using a stain pen worked wonders for the smaller ones. For deeper scratches, I found that wood filler really does the trick! Just remember, matching the color is key!
The scratches we see are not discolored, but indented/ingrained into the glossy finish, in some places there are hundreds of these tiny scratches. How does one fix that type??
This guy is buff af makes Tim Allen on Tool time look like a child! Thanks for the fix info! πβοΈ
More apt title would be, "How to cover or hide a scratch"

For a quick and cheap fix for light scratches- buy a bag of walnuts and rub them into the scratches. This helps fill the scratch, and the natural oil from the walnuts also helps. It's not perfect, but it will improve the scratched areas significantly.
Thanks!
