How to replace a damaged, scratched, or chipped Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP).

Cut it out with an oscillating or circular saw set at the right height; it’s going to cause a lot of debris, so make sure you have a vacuum on site when you do this.

Then remove the damaged piece, clean up underneath really well, and free of debris. Cut the new piece to the proper length. Cut off the bottom grooves of the new piece. Use glue on the tongue side of the flooring that’s down already.

Insert it, then use a rubber mallet to hit it into place, and Boom! All fixed.

  1. All right, I’ve watched probably about 10 of these videos. They’re all the same the only thing that’s not covered. What do you do if the original installer did not start with a straight line and you are 20 feet from the starting point having to replace a piece

  2. 🤣🤣 You fix it by removing all of it and put down tile. This shit is pure garbage. Hundreds of millions of square feet of this trash in landfills already. Say no to plastic bags but let's use plastic to build houses!!! Yeah, great logic.
