  1. At 1:30 we are shown him removing a floor piece. This does not work. The board being removed is connected the the board on its side. (no shown in this video. Lifting the board stresses the other board on its side causing it to break where they connect. I tried using this method and it does not work as shown in this video.

  2. How is it, that this is the ONLY video I've seen where they're GLUING the panel to the sub-floor?
Obviously I don't know, but I've seen no other videos where a FLOATING board gets glued down.
Does this not cause problems, or I guess the surrounding panels will still be able to move/expand?

  3. What if I don't have a circular saw? How else to remove the old plank? Also, they don't sell older models of laminate anymore, so there are no way to buy an exact replacement.

  4. Can anyone tell me the name/color of that flooring in the video? It’s like a deep rich red oak but everything on HD website for red oak is much lighter. I have that exact flooring in my house I need to repair.

  5. This is helpful, as I bought some expensive Farmstand Maple from Home Depot that still looks great in the dining room, then bought enough to do the rest of the house. They shipped me the cheap version of it. When I contacted them about it, they just ignored me. Talk about bait and switch, or perhaps an inventory control system so messed up, they're too embarrassed to deal with it. Either way, I'm not impressed, but at least I have this video to effect repairs on the cheap stuff.
