  1. Iโ€™m like you Iโ€™m always a step or two behind. What I mean is if youโ€™re working as well as telling your viewers why I did this!because itโ€™s those of us that know because weโ€™ve experienced it will get a read with your dialogue. Did you plan to use Liquid nails?

  2. Hey my friend, where did you get the ventilation thatโ€™s attached to your back going to your headset what does that set up called? This is the first time Iโ€™ve ever seen it or someone using it but I like it.

  3. Recently bought a property that also had a "adds no value" single wide on it. I was thinking of having it demo'd and removed until the demo contractor required I have it tested for asbestos. Did you have any concerns/issues with asbestos? The inspection came back and the late 70's mobile home came back asbestos free except for the aluminum reflective roofing paint tested positive for asbestos.

Seeing this video makes an old man like me (in my 60's) want to just seal the asbestos on the roof and perhaps rehab the footprint of the trailer like you are and rather then buying a workshop or shed to go in place of the trailer, turn the single wide into my workshop space. Like yours, there is rot in the floor in 1 or 2 spots and at least 2 windows that are broken and leaking.

    Thanks for a great video.

  4. One of my problems is getting home insurance on a 1970, I called a half dozen insurance companies so far. Until I tell them it built in 1970 they say "it's too old" I replaced the floors and carpet, (with some rooms pergo -type floor or linoleum bathroom) new modern c/b panel and wiring and Real kitchen cabinets instead of the flimsy plywood. And PEX pipe( don't use shark bites or epenor). Got rid of the old oil burner, replacement with a heat pump. It's fantastic watching your progress.

  5. Soooo AWESOME to see a young couple not whining about the costs of new homes. Rather learning skills as they put sweat equity into their home to be. This is how itโ€™s done. One step at a time.๐ŸŽ‰โค

  6. This is the best remodel mobile home video of all time, I watching this to help me rebuild my 1977 mobile home,I will definitely be replacing all mobile home particle board with plywood

  8. I have the extra same issue with my modular house but unfortunately the problem area is behind the sink and toliet and under the bath. Im curious, after a repair like this, could you tile over it?

  9. Iโ€™m in the middle of an almost identical repair, only under a door not a window, but your video has given me the confidence to get it done. Thanks so much for sharing. I was so scared to cut this outer band out to replace it
