So Iām commenting in 2025. I have a soft floor around my toilet that needs replacing. Already got the toilet off and noticed I canāt put the toilet back on because then it will be unlevel and leak again. This is definitely the video I needed. It may not be the exact video showing me how to replace the floor in a bathroom. It did help however to show me how to support the floor better around the toilet. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video! Attempting to do it.
Your video is just what i need. Husband and i are going to attempt to fix soft spots in our room. Great video. New subscriber from SC

I would have put some construction adhesive on support joists also, but good job.
I don't care about floors, I only watched because you are cute.

Shouldn't it be 9 1/2 + 3/4 to share the floor joist? You did 9 1/2 + 1 1/2 for 11 inches š¤
This is the EXACT problem I needed to fix!!! Thank you so much for making it so easy.

Nice work, thanks for sharing, now I need to do it!
Im a girl it helped me clear and easy to understand.
This was a very resourceful and informative video. My subflooring is rotting out due to flooding coming down from behind my property. A guy did the subflooring in my bathrooms and one bedroom. The uneven and spacing between boards, its not level or secure. Now its got to be redone. I dont understand what he did. Its most certainly not like how the subflooring turned out in this video. Im tempted to rip it out myself and redo it. Do you have a video once the subflooring is replaced what the next steps are to proceeding on the put the flooring down. He did even put no kind of moisture barrier down either. He also used some kind of bolt like top screw thst has now ripped the flooring and in other bathroom where subflooring was braced even and sturdy the uneven boards had ripped the flooring too
